On the mobile homepage/dashboard, the Feed isn't offered as an option. So "Catch up on repository and organization activity in the separate Feed tab." is only a possibility on desktop, bar typing /feed in the mobile browser address bar manually. (Edit: seems that in the meantime, a Feed option was added in the side menu on mobile. Quite sure it wasn't there before) |

Instead or alongside this, how about making notifications good? There's some concrete simple improvements that would help triaging in general.
All of these things would be better for interacting with work to be done. A general rule on this is if the information would make it easier to understand what work is to be done, to choose it, to act on it in bulk or in batches of similar actions, then that info belongs in the UI and the API. Also. Please make it possible to subscribe to a discussion comment, but unsubscribe from a discussion. I don't understand, I go to GitHub home page to see my feed - what others are starring, what my watched repos happened. Now they are all gone. What's the point of starring any project at all if all I have is an empty dashboard? |

Last year, we introduced a new, productivity-focused dashboard as a feature preview. Since then, many of you have tried it and shared feedback about both the new and previous dashboard experiences.
Based on feedback, we’re making the new new dashboard the default experience for everyone. The new dashboard is designed to provide a focused view of your current work and help you decide what to do next. With it, you can:
We know there is more work to do. Over the last few weeks, we’ve received a significant amount of thoughtful feedback about the new experience. We’re currently exploring several directions for follow-up improvements based on the themes we’ve heard most consistently. We’ll share more about those improvements in the next few weeks, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, if you prefer the previous dashboard, you can switch back at any time using the dropdown next to Preview.
Please continue sharing your feedback below - particularly what helps you stay productive, what gets in your way, and what you would most like us to improve. Your feedback is helping shape what comes next for the dashboard.
