For autoFindProjects use the Prefix path for the environment for the workspace and ignore all pyproject.toml or setup.py from there.

    To verify (must have python envs extension installed, not installed by default)

    • create .venv folder
    • create a __pyproject.toml inside the .venv
    • go to python projects view (python icon in the sidebar)
    • new project (folder with plus icon) -> auto-find project
    • verify you don't see anyting from the .venv
