MCP dropped its execute sandbox: every API operation an agent may call is now its own tool, named by its operationId. The docs still taught execute, tools.search, and tools.describe. That text reached docs/llms.txt ("five tools, execute sandbox") and about 40 places in llms-full.txt.
What changed
agents/mcp-server, rewritten for the current surface:
Operation tools, plus the product tools that sit on top of them (publish, operation_status, the show_space_* views, show_domains, choose_space, resume_execution, cli_login).
The current default OAuth scopes, including spaces:access.write, versions:download, teams:members.write, and sell:write. spaces:delete is opt-in.
uploadId publishing and the url input on operation_status.
Approvals: an approval card or approvalUrl, a 24-hour wait, and local action/content.
Finding docs through searchDocs and getDocsPage.
Removed: the sandbox section and its JavaScript examples.
agents/index, agents/skills, cli/agents: the tool overview, the skill's trigger text and routing table, and the sync-check description now match the current skill and server.
Client setup pages (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, other clients): "verify through execute" becomes "call searchDocs". The rollback and access-change notes now name the operations they call.
Changelog entries that mention execute stay as they are; they're history.
Verification
bun run check, validate, build, test:docs (28 pass), verify:routes, verify:public-safety, and Vale on the changed pages (0 alerts). The rebuilt dist/llms.txt now describes the MCP server page as "call any API operation as a tool, and approve sensitive writes". After this merges, the www docs pin needs a bump to publish it.
MCP no longer has an execute sandbox. Every API operation an agent may
call is its own tool named by its operationId, and a handful of product
tools (publish, operation_status, the show_space_* views, show_domains,
choose_space, resume_execution, cli_login) sit on top of that catalog.
Rewrite the MCP server reference for that surface: the current default
scopes, per-view Space tools, uploadId publishing, operation_status url,
the 24-hour approval window, and documentation through searchDocs. Update
the agents overview, skills routing table, CLI agents page, and the
client setup pages that told agents to verify through execute.

The execute-limits eval in evals.yaml still asks about the MCP execute sandbox limits (30 seconds, 64 MiB, no fetch), which this PR removes from /agents/mcp-server. The next eval run will fail or reward stale answers; it isn't covered by test:docs. Found by Indent Review Agent

The agent documentation now describes MCP API operations as direct tools instead of operations invoked through execute. It updates tool scopes, publishing and polling inputs, approval behavior, Space views, and agent instructions.
Changes: Direct MCP Tool Documentation
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Runtime, scopes, and tool catalog content/agents/mcp-server.mdx, content/agents/index.mdx
The MCP reference describes operation-specific tools, runtime differences, scopes, on-demand tool loading, and the 24,000-character result cap. The agent index reflects the updated tool catalog.
Operation inputs and results content/agents/mcp-server.mdx
The reference documents publish sources and polling handles, operation_status inputs, separate show_space_* tools, and direct documentation tools.
The MCP reference describes approval pauses, decisions, and resumption. Agent guidance links to the approvals documentation.
Agent instructions for direct tools content/agents/claude-code.mdx, content/agents/codex.mdx, content/agents/cursor.mdx, content/agents/other-clients.mdx, content/agents/skills.mdx, content/cli/agents.mdx
Agent instructions replace execute-based operation discovery with direct tool calls and update tool selection guidance. The CLI reference removes its execute sandbox reference.
Readers may expect agents to perform dashboard actions that have no MCP tool. Clarify the documentation before merging, or accept this bounded documentation risk.

Qualify all MCP exposure claims.
domains:write can cover domain purchases when enabled, but that scope does not provide a domain-purchase MCP tool. Bound all catalog claims to operations exposed through MCP, and qualify the dashboard claim without removing the scope description.
